Who is responsible
The personal information covered by this notice is held and managed by Cartmavrix. Send any privacy question or request to hello@cartmavrix.store.
What we collect
From an enquiry, by form or by email: your name, email address, the details you choose to give about your store (such as a web address, platform, budget range and message) and your agreement to this notice.
To protect the contact form from abuse: a coded value made from your IP address, created with a secret key so it cannot practically be turned back into the address without that key, and the time of each attempt and each sent message. These records sit in a protected folder on the web server and are removed after a day; each use of the form sweeps out anything older.
If the form has a problem: if a message fails to send, the details you typed are shown back to you on the page so you can try again or copy them. They are not stored in your session.
When you use the project planner: nothing. The planner runs in your browser and does not send your answers to us.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site. The cookies page explains the one cookie the contact form sets.
Why we use it
We use your contact details and message to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote if you ask for one, and keep a record of what was discussed. We do not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing.
Who we share it with
Messages are delivered to our mailbox through our email provider, and the website is run on a hosting provider's servers. Both process the information on our behalf so that we can receive and answer your message. We do not sell personal information or share it for others' marketing. If you ask us where your information is stored, we will tell you.
Overseas disclosure
Our email and hosting providers may store or process information on servers outside Australia, as is common for these services, and the exact locations depend on the provider's infrastructure at the time. We do not otherwise send personal information overseas. If you would like to know which countries are involved for your enquiry, email hello@cartmavrix.store and we will find out and tell you.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while we are discussing a project with you, and for up to two years after the last contact so we can refer back to them. If you become a client, project records are kept as long as needed for the project and for tax and legal record-keeping. Abuse-prevention records are deleted after 24 hours, as described above.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including restricted access to our mailbox, encrypted connections to this site and keeping the contact form's records out of the public part of the server.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@cartmavrix.store. To complain about how we have handled your information, email us first and we will reply in writing. If you are unhappy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Any change to these practices will appear here first, with a new date beside "Last updated".
