How the services fit together
An online store is three things at once: a shop window, a set of operations and a set of legal obligations. The storefront has to make products easy to find and easy to trust. Behind it, orders, stock, shipping and payments have to flow without someone copying data between systems at night. And the whole thing has to meet Australian rules on prices, refunds, privacy and marketing email.
Our services are split along those lines so you can buy what you actually need. A brand with a working Shopify store and poor product pages does not need a rebuild. A retailer on an ageing platform may need a migration more than a redesign. We will say which combination fits when we reply to your enquiry, and the quote names each part separately.
Design and build
| Service | What you get | Typical starting point |
|---|---|---|
| Custom store design | A design system and page templates made for your brand and products | New brand, or a store that looks like every other theme |
| Shopify development | Theme build or customisation, apps chosen and configured, checkout set up | You want a hosted platform you can run yourself |
| WooCommerce development | A WordPress store on hosting you control, with extensions vetted | You already run WordPress or need full ownership |
| BigCommerce development | Theme or headless storefront on BigCommerce with catalogue setup | Larger catalogues, multiple price lists or B2B buyers |
| Headless commerce | A custom front end connected to a commerce back end through APIs | Content-heavy brands or needs a theme cannot meet |
Pages that sell, and the plumbing behind them
| Service | What you get | Typical starting point |
|---|---|---|
| Product pages | Product templates with clear options, photos, specs and structured data | Shoppers ask questions the page should answer |
| Cart and checkout | A checkout with total prices shown early, clear delivery choices and fewer surprises | Abandoned carts, confusing fees or payment problems |
| Store migration | Products, customers, orders and URLs moved, with a redirect map | Moving platform without losing search traffic |
| Integrations | Payments, shipping, inventory, accounting and marketing tools connected | Staff re-keying orders or stock between systems |
What every project includes
Whichever services you choose, a few things are part of every build rather than extras:
- A written scope listing pages, templates, apps and integrations
- Total prices shown the way Australian Consumer Law expects, including GST and unavoidable fees[1]
- Mobile layouts designed first and tested on real phones
- Accessibility checks against WCAG 2.2 Level AA for templates we build[2]
- Product and organisation structured data where it applies
- A launch checklist and a two-week review after go-live
- Handover notes so your team can add products and edit pages
What we do not do
We do not sell ads management, sell stock photography or guarantee search rankings, sales figures or conversion rates. Those outcomes depend on products, prices, competition and marketing spend that a website alone cannot control. We also do not hold your store hostage: you own your domain, your platform account and your content from day one.
Where to start
If you are not sure which service you need, the project planner asks fourteen questions and turns your answers into a plain text brief. Send it with your enquiry and the first reply will be specific to your store. If you would rather read first, the guides cover the rules and decisions that come up in most Australian store projects.
